Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I bring my baby to the workshops?

Of course! This course has been made for both you and your baby, so their presence is absolutely welcomed. Within our relaxed and non-judgmental environment, you can comfortably nurture your baby while actively participating in the course.

  • Can I bring my toddler or other children to the workshop?

As much as I would love for all of your little ones to come along and feel welcome, this course is only for mums and their babies aged 0-6 months.

  • What age of babies is this course most suited for?

Our course is tailored for babies aged 0 to 6 months. However, if your baby is older and you are still keen to join us, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We are more than happy to discuss how we can make the course work for you and your little one.

  • Is the course only for first-time mums?

Not at all! Our postpartum course warmly welcomes all mums, whether you're embarking on motherhood for the first time or if you're already juggling the joys of multiple children.

  • Are partners allowed to attend the course too?

Your course fee covers one parent or caregiver and their baby. While our focus is on mums and babies, we aim to be inclusive. If you're a dad or caregiver and wish to attend, please get in touch. Do keep in mind that some workshops concentrate on maternal postpartum care.

  • Can I attend the course more than once?

Absolutely! If you have previously attended one of our courses with one baby and are considering joining again with your next, we would be so excited to have you back. You will find each course to be unique.

  • Can I receive a refund if I can no longer attend the course?

Your payment is non-refundable, except for severe medical situations that prevent your attendance (there will be a $30 admin fee taken off the refund amount). If the course has already commenced, unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds. In the event of a course cancellation initiated by Becoming Mum, a full refund will be provided.

  • Can I bring my pram?

Unfortunately, no prams can be brought inside the studio. If you do bring your pram, there is space to park it just outside the door. So sorry for the inconvenience this may cause if you have a sleeping baby in the pram!

  • What is parking like?

There is plenty of on-road parking just outside the studio, so you won't have trouble finding a spot nearby.

  • What is the class size for each course?

Each course can have a minimum of 8 mums and a maximum of 16 mums.

  • Where is the course located?

The course takes place at the Pure Mama Studio at 14 Kopukairoa Boulevard, Papamoa.

It takes a village to raise a mother.

We’d love to be part of yours!
